The main theme is FAMILY with accent on Children's Rights
The seventh edition of this Documentary Film Festival for Youths on St.Maarten, Saba, Statia, Curaçao, Bonaire and Aruba starts in September. The expectation is again a growing number of visitors, between 12000-13000. This time KidDocs co-operate with Movies that Matter, an initiative of Amnesty International. The program is extended with film commentaries, KidDocs in Class and workshops Teach the Teachers.

This was also the first time that I saw a documentary. At home I put everything aside for comedies. However my interest in documentaries has been awakened. At school we learn very little about life customs and conflicts of other countries. Documentaries do provide this information... |
